Louis Vuitton introduces the Malle Vaisselier trunk with the launch of its new Dolce Vita dining collection

The tableware collection is inspired by the atmosphere and colour palette of Capri.

Louis Vuitton has taken another considered step into the world of interiors with the launch of the Malle Vaisselier—a new trunk designed to coincide with the release of its Dolce Vita Art of Dining collection. This move shows the House’s growing interest in how luxury can be experienced at home, not just through fashion or travel, but through everyday rituals like dining and entertaining.

Louis Vuitton Dining Set trunk

The Malle Vaisselier has been crafted as more than just a storage piece. Created to hold and transport every item from the brand’s Art of Dining collections, it brings together functionality and visual continuity. The trunk is covered in Louis Vuitton’s Monogram canvas, paired with a soft microfibre-lined interior and finished with golden metallic accents. Its design includes eight spacious drawers, compartments for glasses and carafes, and a three-tiered section for plates and dishes. A wooden tray decorated with Monogram flowers has been included to showcase tableware and allow the full beauty of each piece to stand out.

Every element has been built with precision, and the trunk offers a complete storage system for collectors who want their tableware to be both protected and presented with care. While it functions as a practical object, it also works as a centrepiece, something that brings focus to the act of dining and elevates the experience of using the collection.

Louis Vuitton Dolce Vita Dining Set

The launch of Malle Vaisselier comes alongside the Dolce Vita Art of Dining collection, a new tableware line inspired by the atmosphere of Capri. The collection brings a light, airy mood to the table, using a yellow watercolour version of the Monogram across Limoges porcelain plates, dishes, teapots, and cups. The design feels relaxed but intentional, giving the pieces a modern edge without moving too far from the House’s visual identity.

The collection is designed around the idea of gathering, meals shared between friends and family in settings that feel warm and easy. The colour palette, choice of materials, and layout of each piece come together to bring a sense of softness and light to the table, while still feeling structured and elevated.

Louis Vuitton Dolce Vita Dining Set

The Dolce Vita collection is part of Louis Vuitton’s new Home Collections universe, which was introduced in April 2025. This larger offering combines existing categories like Objets Nomades with new furniture, lighting, and decorative lines under the Signature collection. It also includes home textiles, tableware, and high-end games.

With these launches, Louis Vuitton is not just entering the home space—it is building an entire environment that connects back to its design philosophy. The Malle Vaisselier and Dolce Vita collection show how the brand is extending its language into daily life, offering objects that carry both function and meaning without losing their sense of ease.
