UK-based Hedley Studios has introduced a distinctive new creation that brings one of Ferrari’s most iconic designs into the world of collectible design objects. The Ferrari Testa Rossa J Sculpture is a 75% scale aluminium wall sculpture, developed as a tribute to the Testa Rossa J — the electrified, drivable replica of the original 250 Testa Rossa. Designed as a limited-edition piece for collectors, this sculpture blends engineering precision with visual impact, offering a bold take on Ferrari’s racing legacy.
The sculpture measures 3.1m in length, 1.1m in height, and 0.7m in depth. Each piece is handcrafted using traditional panel-beating techniques, with more than 300 hours of work required to shape and polish the aluminium bodywork. A two-week hand-machining process gives the sculpture its clean, metallic finish.
Hedley Studios has officially partnered with Ferrari for this release, and the sculpture includes accurate details such as the Prancing Horse badge, front and rear light lenses, and bonnet straps. These elements serve as clear references to the Testa Rossa’s original form and heritage.
Only 19 sculptures will be produced globally, a number that directly references the limited production run of the ‘Pontoon Fender’ Ferrari 250 Testa Rossas built by Italian coachbuilder Sergio Scaglietti. Known for his instinctive design approach and mastery of hand-forming techniques, Scaglietti created some of Ferrari’s most iconic competition cars without relying on technical drawings — a legacy that has influenced the development process at Hedley Studios.
