Jacob & Co. is known for pushing boundaries in watchmaking and creating high bling watches. But this time, it’s about more than innovation. Created in collaboration with Indian actor, Salman Khan, the brand has created a timepiece that represents something personal—family, legacy, and the idea that time is more than just numbers on a dial.
‘The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone Salman Khan’ watch is built for travelers, featuring an independently adjustable dual-time function. This allows for precise timekeeping in regions with non-standard time zones, like India’s GMT +5:30. The three-dimensional globe dial reflects Jacob & Co.’s craftsmanship while emphasizing global connectivity.
Salman Khan and Jacob Arabo have built a strong friendship over the years, with the superstar often sporting Jacob & Co. timepieces, including the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon. Their collaboration for this special watch was born out of a shared story. Mr. Arabo’s father gifted him a watch that symbolized the significance of time and limitless potential. This inspired Mr. Khan to create a timepiece honoring his own father, screenwriter Salim Khan.
The watch incorporates elements reflecting India’s heritage. Saffron and green accents are inspired by the Indian flag, while the laser-engraved world map on the case back and the inscription “Salman Khan” highlight the actor’s global influence. Mr. Khan’s initials, “S.K.,” are positioned at 6 o’clock on the dial. The timepiece comes in a custom Jacob & Co. box finished in Salman Khan’s signature turquoise, matching his iconic bracelet.
Mr. Khan shared his connection to the watch, saying, “Time connects us across generations. When I learned Jacob’s story, I knew I wanted to create a timepiece that honored my father’s role in my life. ‘The World Is Yours’ is more than a watch—it’s a symbol of family, legacy, and the moments that shape us.”
With this collaboration, the actor joins a distinguished group of Jacob & Co. partners, further cementing the brand’s legacy of creating watches that go beyond function to become lasting symbols of personal history. While Jacob & Co. has previously partnered with athlete Cristiano Ronaldo and supercar maker Bugatti, this luxury collaboration is a first for Mr. Khan.
The watch is powered by the Jacob & Co. Self-Winding JCAA14 movement, featuring a 42-hour power reserve and operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). It includes a dual-time zone function with independent hour and minute adjustments.
The stainless steel case measures 43mm in diameter and 14mm in height, with a sapphire crystal offering anti-reflective treatment. The crown has three positions, allowing for winding and separate time zone corrections at 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters.
The blue PVD titanium dial features engraved continents finished in rose gold. A compass rose sits at the center, with a saffron subdial displaying Roman numerals at 12 o’clock and a green subdial with Arabic numerals at 6 o’clock. The rose gold-plated hands add to the refined design.
The watch is paired with a blue alligator leather strap and a stainless steel pin buckle. Each piece is individually numbered in this limited-edition collection.
