Tennis apparel gets new identity for the season, thanks to collections by both Gucci & Aman Essentials

While tennis player Novak Djokovic is an Aman Wellness Advisor and brand ambassador, Jannik Sinner holds the torch for Gucci.

As tennis continues to influence everything from travel to lifestyle, two luxury names are approaching the sport with distinct perspectives. Aman Essentials and Gucci have each launched tennis-focused collections that reflect their individual take on how the game lives beyond the court.

Aman Essentials, a lifestyle brand by the hospitality group Aman, introduced its new line, Aman Tennis Club (ATC), during a gathering at Amanruya in Bodrum, Turkey. The launch brought together friends of the brand, including Novak Djokovic, who is not only a tennis champion but also Aman’s Global Wellness Advisor. Tennis legend Maria Sharapova is also an ambassador for the brand.

Rooted in the Aman philosophy of wellbeing and ease, the collection features ready-to-wear pieces and accessories designed for both active performance and quiet recovery.

Kristina Romanova, CEO of Aman Essentials, said, “Like every one of our collections, Aman Tennis Club has been released in response to the demands of our guests. Tennis is such an integral part of the on-property experience at many of our Aman properties, threaded through our hotels and resorts globally. For our many guests who live and breathe the sport, from the first serve of the season to the final set, it is understood that boundaries are immaterial. We wanted to create a community of apparel that caters to that need both on and off the court.”

The collection includes Italian-made knitted polos, vests, and dresses that allow free movement, along with post-game terry and fleece leisurewear produced in Portugal. Standout items include the Women’s Knitted Tennis Dress in black and ecru, and the Men’s Terry Half-Zip Sweatshirt with ATC embroidery, available in clay, dark green, and blue. Accessories range from signature Aman “A” caps to professional-grade ATC tennis balls.

The colors of the collection are tied to Aman’s own destinations—from the clay tones of Bodrum’s Amanruya courts to the hardcourts at Amanpuri in Phuket. ATC follows Aman Essentials’ 2023 launch of the Aman Yoga range, continuing its move into active wellbeing.

Meanwhile, Gucci has released its latest Tennis collection with a campaign that leans into cinematic stillness and summer energy. Inspired by the House’s 1970s archive, the collection includes men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and bags. Women’s styles feature pleated skirts and Web-striped detailing that nods to classic tennis whites. Men’s pieces lean into sharp polo shirts with structured collars. Accessories add a retro tone—headbands, metallic aviators, and GG Monogram canvas bags trimmed in leather.

One of the most notable items is the Gucci x HEAD tennis racket. It includes the Interlocking G logo in red string, Gucci’s Web stripe on the frame, and a performance-focused Speed MP design with an anti-vibration dampener. Each racket comes with a blue case featuring a zip pocket and an adjustable strap.

This launch builds on Gucci’s past work with HEAD, including custom duffle bags created for the brand’s ambassador Jannik Sinner, first seen during last year’s tennis season in Paris.

With Aman Essentials introducing a performance-led collection grounded in wellness, and Gucci continuing its collaboration with HEAD, both launches highlight the sport’s growing presence in luxury fashion and lifestyle. Together, the two launches show how tennis is shaping product design, seasonal campaigns, and wellness-driven experiences across the luxury space.
