The collection – presented at Paris’ Musée d’Orsay – explores the enigma of French style. “An evolutive fashion, like the palimpsest of multiple currents from all over, in which couture conventions embrace an astonishing mix of cultures to become what is known as the French exception,” says the official statement from LV.

Artist Philippe Parreno and production designer James Chinlund mark the scene with a concept based on sound illusions conceived by Nicholas Becker. Gracious geometric lines, a Parisian street, and a curated sound experience brought Paris to life. A futuristic black setup in the middle of an otherwise iconic European lounge sets the tone of dichotomy. The French mystery intensified as the models appeared against the dark backdrop.
