BMW has partnered with Austria’s VAGABUND Moto to launch a striking special edition of the CE 02 eParkourer. This futuristic bike blends cutting-edge technology with a hint of retro charm, resulting in a stylish ride for new adventures.
The custom bike, crafted in Austria, stands out with its unique, futuristic design elements, all tailored to appeal to a younger audience. The retro influence adds to the charm.
Features like the “OB-4 Magic Radio” from Teenage Engineering enhance its youthful and creative vibe. The “electric exhaust” adds both a stylish and practical touch, with space for an umbrella, while the running board equipped with skateboard grip tape emphasizes the sporty, urban eParkourer aesthetic.
The two brands have also made a bold statement with the bike’s 12-foot-high packaging, which is an integral part of the overall design concept.
Speaking on the project, Paul Brauchart, founder and managing director of VAGABUND Moto GmbH, said, “We were immediately in love when we saw the CE 02 for the first time at the BMW Motorrad Days in Berlin. The overall design of the CE 02 was simply a “perfect match” for us, as we at VAGABUND are always trying to break new ground and reinterpret existing products in our own way. In this project, we would define the general design approach as a “retro-future.” We tried to combine the very futuristic original design with some retro vibes and thus give the viewer a familiar feeling,”
