These exciting newcomers join popular returning favorites like Eden (Avondale), The Gage (Loop), Gene & Georgetti (River North), Cebu (Bucktown/Wicker Park), Moody Tongue Brewing Company (South Loop), and Virtue Restaurant & Bar (Hyde Park). Some other restaurants to look out for include Mango Pickle, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, Monteverde, RPM Italian, and more.
This event is also the perfect opportunity for both visitors and locals to explore the city’s renowned culinary scene. A complete list of participating restaurants and their curated menus is available on the official website.
The eagerly awaited celebration kicks off on January 23, with the First Bites Bash, the official launch event for Chicago Restaurant Week, which will be held at Chicago’s iconic Field Museum. Award-winning Chicago chef Soo Ahn of Adalina will take center stage as the Host Chef for the evening. Attendees will be able to enjoy exclusive tasting portions from over 60 restaurants, offering a sneak peek at their Chicago Restaurant Week menus, along with wine, beer, spirits, live entertainment, and more. A portion of the proceeds from First Bites Bash will benefit the James Beard Foundation.
