Dorsett by Agora Osaka Sakai is set to make its highly anticipated arrival on March 25, 2025, marking the arrival of Japan’s first-ever Dorsett hotel. The property also includes a meeting space accommodating up to 42 guests and an all-day dining restaurant with an outdoor harbor-front terrace that seats 120.
Emphasizing sustainability, the hotel’s design incorporates eco-conscious materials inspired by the themes of “Greenery, Earth, and Sea”. Guests will find ceramic tiles, bricks, and upcycled denim cushions crafted by Japanese brand Rekrow, creating an environmentally friendly yet stylish atmosphere.
One of the standout offerings of the hotel is its signature Dorsett 26 Hours experience, allowing guests to check in or out at their convenience while enjoying a full 26-hour stay. Furthermore, Dorsett Discoveries provides curated insider guides, unlocking hidden gems and local experiences across Sakai and Osaka.
With Osaka gearing up to host the World Expo 2025 on Yumeshima Island from April to October, the hotel is introducing an exclusive ferry service to the Expo, running four times daily from the pier just outside its doors.
