Running until March 9, this retrospective spans across the boutique, the Armani/Caffè, and the atrium of Jio World Plaza. It pays tribute to the creative synergy between Mr. Armani and Mr. Fallai, a collaboration that has shaped the visual identity of modern luxury for over three decades.

Nestled in the prestigious Jio World Plaza, the new store embodies Armani’s signature aesthetic. The space exudes quiet opulence, with marble and onyx flooring complementing fine-textured silk wallpaper from Armani/Casa.

The ceiling, finished in marmorino, mirrors the veining and hues of the flooring, creating a harmonious environment. Platinum-colored metal, eucalyptus wood, and glass elements complete the store’s understated yet luxurious appeal. Armani/Casa furnishings, including lamps, rugs, and Barbican armchairs, add to the immersive experience.

At 219 square meters, the boutique offers an extensive selection of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear from the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, alongside accessories, Armani/Privé fragrances, and the coveted Made to Measure service.

The Aldo Fallai retrospective is a centerpiece of the Mumbai launch. Mr. Fallai’s black-and-white imagery, which has defined Armani’s visual identity since 1977, blends cinematic storytelling with Renaissance-inspired composition. His work captures Armani’s signature silhouettes—fluid tailoring, structured yet effortless designs, and a quiet, powerful aesthetic.

The exhibition highlights how Mr. Fallai’s lens brought Armani’s vision to life, playing a pivotal role in the brand’s rise during the golden era of “Made in Italy” fashion. Their collaboration, which began in the mid-1970s and continued for nearly three decades, has been instrumental in shaping the brand’s timeless appeal.
