The U.S.-based Ritmo Mundo is introducing new sapphire-cased timepieces during Watches & Wonders 2025, currently running in Geneva, Switzerland. The brand will present the Acqua Chronograph for the first time globally, along with the international launch of the Pegasus and Pegasus Tourbillon collections.
Ali Soltani, founder of Ritmo Mundo, describes the latest collections as a pivotal step in the brand’s evolution. “The Pegasus Collection represents a defining moment for Ritmo Mundo 2.0. It captures everything the brand stands for today: modern luxury, transparency, confidence, and ingenuity. The outstanding market reception to this collection inspired us to continue expanding Ritmo Mundo’s sapphire case offerings, and the Acqua sapphire chronograph represents that next step in our journey,” he said.
The Acqua Collection, a fully transparent sapphire case chronograph, is Ritmo Mundo’s most customizable watch to date. The three available models, clear, blue, and turquoise, each come with two interchangeable silicone straps, allowing wearers to shift the look of their timepiece with ease. For those seeking a more personal touch, custom sapphire case and dial combinations are available, with an estimated three-to-four-month production timeline.
Beneath the clear exterior, the Acqua is powered by an ETA/Valjoux Caliber 7753 movement, featuring central hours, minutes, chronograph seconds, and small seconds, along with 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters. A 48-hour power reserve ensures reliability, while 100 meters of water resistance adds durability to the design.
Pricing begins at $20,000 for the clear sapphire model, with colored sapphire cases available for $24,000. Production will be limited, a move likely to heighten the collection’s exclusivity.
“Acqua is clarity in motion,” said Mr. Soltani. “It’s about bringing together the best elements of precision, strength, and transparency, without compromise. This is not just a watch—it’s a statement of Ritmo Mundo’s intention to deliver compelling timepieces that deliver style and horological substance,” he further added.
The Pegasus series, first introduced in the U.S. in 2024, is set to make its mark in Geneva. The Pegasus model features a skeletonized dial with a sapphire crystal case top. The Pegasus Tourbillon built on that concept, introducing a hand-assembled movement, gold-plated barrel, and a panoramic case, positioning Ritmo Mundo firmly in the high-complication watch segment.
The Pegasus three-hand model is priced at $3,500, while the Tourbillon costs $12,900, positioning Ritmo Mundo among brands offering more affordable tourbillons.
