For Fall-Winter 2025/26, Tod’s reaffirms its love and dedication to craftsmanship and artistic heritage with a striking runway presentation. Titled Artisanal Intelligence, an evocative theme, the collection pays tribute to the skill and experience of master artisans—an ethos that has long defined the Italian luxury house.
For the collection, Creative Director Matteo Tamburini had a unique vision in mind. These further evolved when inspired by the evocative photography of Irving Penn. The line-up captures a delicate balance between structure and emotion, resulting in designs that feel both powerful and deeply personal.
It is a perfect combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design. Outerwear takes center stage, showcasing elongated silhouettes with refined proportions.
Every piece is a masterclass in tailoring, from oversized double-layer cashmere coats to meticulously crafted Pea Coats with leather detailing.
Some looks seem to take otherworldly inspirations as long-flowing shoulder capes are matched with coats and sweaters.
Pashmy suede and nappa leather add a tactile richness, ensuring that every garment is as luxurious to the touch as it is visually striking.
Faux fur seems to be a recurring trend for Fall-Winter 2025. Tod’s, too, offers plush fur coats in the collection. From Helen Anthony to Gucci, everybody seems to be finding a new love with faux fur this season.
The palette remains rooted in nature, with earthy tones of olive green, deep burgundy, and classic neutrals setting the tone for an effortlessly sophisticated winter wardrobe.
Footwear remains a signature strength of Tod’s, with timeless icons receiving modern updates. The Gommino Glove in napped python, the W.G. ankle boot reimagined as a brushed Chelsea boot, and the Barretato loafer with its signature metal band all exemplify the brand’s ability to evolve while staying true to its heritage.
Accessories are equally refined, with the Di Bag Folio making a statement in a patchwork of premium leathers. The Wave Bag is redesigned for a lighter, more fluid silhouette, while the new Sacca Tank shoulder bag in ostrich or ultra-soft suede pays homage to Tod’s tradition of impeccable craftsmanship.
Fur features in handbags as well. Each bag carries a personalized tag bearing the image of the artisan who crafted it, reinforcing the human touch behind every creation.
The highlight of the show was a live artistic performance by Nelly Agassi, who unveiled a sculptural dress crafted from recycled leather fragments. This one-of-a-kind installation was worn by Carla Bruni, the legendary model and singer.
